Do I need an FMU
 

I'm putting everything together for my D16Z6. I have a TD05 and I was going to run at 9psi. I have a set of 450cc bluetops that I was going to use, but now I don't know. Will I be ok with these or will I need to buy a FMU. If the injectors will do, what do I need to do to make them work or are they plug 'n' play.

you will need something along the lines of an afc, ghettodyne, turboedit, or a standalone to control them....you will only need to enlarge the injector seals and depending on your car you might need to get new clips or modify yours

so the injectors will be good enough as long as i have an air/fuel controller

I just dont want to buy a FMU if its unecesary

If you want to use the FMU you use your stock injectors and a missing link or bypass the map sensor with check valves...

if you desire you use the 450cc injectors.. ditch the fmu and get an V-AFC to control your fuel and vtec and you can idle and use those injectors.. i currently use the boost bin with the editors that are floating around on my chipped pm6 ecu... obd0 civic 88-91 wiring.. if you are obd1 92-95 you use a p28 ecu and use uberdata software.. but if you dont feel like messing with that and dont understand how to use that just get an afc and retard the timing on your distributor and you will be fine...
