well, the KFC buffet is 3.99, gas up there and back will probably be about 20.00 bucks at the most, and i'm not sure what joey's charging for tuning these days, but i doubt it's over 150.00 at the very most, so i wouldn't expect to pay more than 175.00 bucks for the total endeavor

you won't need you're own wideband or lap top unless you really want them, he will have his own stuff to use to tune your car with. check you pm's.

If you buy your own gear, I help for free. I won't set everything up, but if you get the laptop pulling a datastream and logging in Uberdata, I'm more than happy to stand over your shoulder and help you calibrate the wideband, etc and get everything set up so that you CAN tune. Then I'd probably drive your car while you sat bitch with the laptop, and we'd pull over between logs and I'd pester you with info while YOU made the changes to your tune. That offer is open to anyone.

Laptop ($150-500 used), wideband ($300 or a smidge less), datalogging cable ($35). At that point I'd lend one of my ROM emulators to smooth the tuning process so we dont have to yank chips out of the ECU and reburn all the time.

These days I charge $200 to hook up my gear, tune for driveability as well as performance, burn the chip, and test drive for quality control. Add $50 if you need ECU socketing.

I'm pretty rushed for time these days, so you might have to wait a bit or settle for some odd hours when you get the car together.

You'd get the abbreviated version if you pay me - my attention would be focussed on doing and not on teaching. There's a lot you have to pick up on your end if you buy all the tuning gear yourself, before you roll into my driveway, when you hook it all together.

Either way, you get what you put into it and nothing more.
