Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
This is a stupid little utility I wrote for your guys that have Zdyne maps you want to port over TurboEDIT.
Basically, all it does it open the exported map in a grid compatible with TurboEDIT so you can copy and paste the parts you want into TurboEDIT. Gook Luck. (I don't plan on this being a recurring up dated thing.. so use it as is. If it doesn't work for what you need.. so what. :P) [EDIT] http://www.pgmfi.org/~jparker/TEZDUtil.exe [/EDIT] [Screen Shot] http://index.driftkids.com/TEZDUtil_SS.jpg |

Now, if you mean "read the map from the chip", no. There might be something like that with the new PGMFI Boost ROM since we'll be able to implement RTP (Real Time Programming). We'll see what PGMFI has planned for TE.. :D |
Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
this "show the map". Does this mean, while you're driving you can view the fuel table and see where the ecu is pulling info from?? man, Jason, you gotta get a video of TE doing that on your car or something! (if it can)

Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
Heh, one of my users did just that.. Except I lost the vid. I'll try to make a new one when I get another MAX233A (I fried my last one :( )

Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
k, i think im retarded cuz i cant get this to work?!?!?!
|
Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
I think so too, but I'll help you. ;D
Open BINHacker.exe, open your tune, export the map you want to import into TE, then save it. Open the TE Utility, open the map, pick if it is a fuel map or an ignition map, and click OK. That's all there is to it. |
Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
Did you discontinue this utility tool? I wanted to play... :-[
|
Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
Heh, no.. I just forgot about this thread and moved everything over to PGMFI hosting..
http://www.pgmfi.org/~jparker/TEZDUtil.exe ...there you go. |

Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
Whats the difference between a ZDY file and a .txt export file which is what your program is looking for?
I have found some ZDY files...but not exports so just curious. |
Re:Dirrty Zdyne -> TurboEDIT Utility
The .zdy is the proprietary file that Zdyne's "BinHacker.exe" program creates.
Due to copyright laws, I am not allowed to reverse engineer the .zdy values into a TurboEDIT formula. Howver, Zdyne does allow export to plaintext, in which I can format that in to a TurboEDIT compatible grid for copying and pasting into TE. |
