did MY first chipped ecu, obd1......uberdata

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
well this morning i decided to chip an ecu, instead of asking/paying someone to do it for me. i went to radio shack and got all the tools and hardware, and to be honest, it was easi, and i took my time not to make a mess, and it came out really clean and i tested it in a 92' civic EX and it works GREAT.

it wasn't hard at all...........piece of cake!!!!!

I took apart a civic DX OBD2 ecu and got the female plugs out, now all i need to do is find a OBD1 ecu plugs, then i can start building my OBD2-OBD1 harness.

I am also currently putting a Serial port on my ECU for datalogging.

Uberdata is the shyt.

later
(will post pics later)

just buy a harness on ebay...got mine for 90 shipped. well worth it instead of wasting my time trying to make the harness.

WTF Chingro I thought I was supposed to set you up with programming the ecu with uberdata! >:(

Kidding man, I'm glad to see you attempted it yourself and it worked out for you. Now, go tune ;)

after doing my research, i decided to give it a try first ;) (nothing to lose), i have a few P06 ecu's to test around with, and they all came out good, i even sold one chipped for 200, and i using the other for my further testing with installing the datalogging hardware, and i have two other chipped P28's which i am about to test in a few hours (when my buddy with a OBD1 civic gets here *i sold him a chipped ECU too *)

on a other note, i installed my exhuast this morning, in my driveway.
SS full custom exhuast 2.75 inch, with 4 inch tip ( APEX N1 style) built fot a B16A 00 SI civic with a Grag kit.
Everything bolts up perfect on hangers too.
The exhaust was Never used, the civic was stolen even before he got the exhaust from the shop. and he sold it to me fpr $50, i drove 45mins to get it, but hey for $50 you cant lose

pixs soon

i didnot burnor buy the chips, i was given i hand full of burn chips from a friend in NY (also a HMT member), and i bought everything else from radio shack, i plan to get my burner/programmer too.

all i do for now is modify the ECU so thay can take the modified chips.

i sent my uberdata BIN file to my cuz in virgina, and he is going to send me the chip.
