Default Detonation? PLEASE LOOK @ MY BINS!!!! ~~~FIXED~~~

Argh... i hate when i type out a huge long thread, and then i get the "error" page when submitted and u gotta start ALL OVER AGAIN. So this time, i'm typing up the cliff notes.

So, heres my problem... I'm still having detonation or something above 4500rpm and full boost (10psi)
Can you all check out my ignition maps?

I have a built B18a1
Obd1 dizzy, obd1 harness, timing set @ 16* btdc
450dsm's w/ 10watt 10 ohm resisitors.
GM 3 bar
Final fuel multiplier is .652 to get nice air fuels in vaccuum, and in boost, a/f are ALL around 12.7 - 13.2 in vaccuum and boost.(yes a little lean for boost, but i have to get the detonating to stop so i can turn it a little richer.)

Idle is perfect... Purs like a quiet little kitten @ 650rpm and it spools quick. 10psi @ 3500rpm w/ a .63trim t3/t4

Even retarding the dizzy 100%, i get the same symptoms of the car falling on its face.
I think i have a bad basemap that i built off of. I used P30 code, but copied all the #'s for the values and side values to match off a basemap i got from http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/...efinitionCodes. The funny thing is that all the b18a and b18b obd1 basemaps from there were all funky w/ values all over the place!!!! i only found one or two that looked decent, so i went w/ them. YES< VTEC IS DISABLED... so is checksum routine.
I have disabled knock sensor, Oxygen sensor (open loop), and enabled debug mode.

Please look @ my maps, or let me know where i can get a RELIABLE basemap!!! Thanks.

Try www.-------------, and look in the bin directory.

I dunno...seems like alot of timing is being pulled out. Even my first b16/sc61 setup ran more timing than that Are you sure it's detonation you're hearing?

Your thought process should not be, "Hey, I might be hearing detonation, let me leave the AFRs at high almost 13:1 AFR". Your thought process should be, "Wow, I'm running lean and its causing me to detonate. Let me get my AFR in the 12.0:1 range or slightly richer and then re-evaluate the situation".

You have a point there, but 12.5:1 should be plenty rich during boost. He can try fattening it up in the problem area and see if that works, but I've seen some boosted cars running into the mid 13's afr without any big issues.

Worth a shot though, although maybe you're raising cylinder temps to a detonation point by retarding the timing so much.

I found a nice map on xenocron... timing maps were much better...
CAR RUNS GREAT... just gotta re-tune the fuel maps, and hook up the detcan and go driving again

Turns out i was WAAAAY too retarded and the car was falling on its face... i was going in the wrong direction, and thats why the symptoms persisted.
