Datalogging's got me all mixed up!?!?
 

i just located a nokia cable to hook up datalogging for my uberdata setup. i've searched many a forum looking for some simple info like what the hell does the uberdata datalogging function display? i've seen rpm and throttle position but that's about it. what all does it display? how does wideband work into the equation. i just checked out the zeitronix zt2 system and see that it's separate from the ecu but still has pickup for rpm, throttle, and boost/egt depending if you buy the sensors. the egt seems reasonable but the boost is $140. can you hook it up to the ecu to pick up the map sensor reading? would it be worth just saying piss on hooking a cable up to the ecu and doing this? a combo of the two? ----!!??!?! sorry for long post...

the zeitronix probably includes a separate map sensor.

if it has programmable 0-5V inputs, you can tap into your map signal to your ecu and use that as your map value.
