You sure it's a solid CEL when you disable the O2? That doesn't sound right. You need to jump the service connector with a paper clip to get the CEL to actually flash the code.

You may want to check your soldering... :P

Also, make sure you CUT D14 and run your wideband wire to the harness/plug. You don't want a narrow signal from the stock O2 or the O2 output from the PLX unit. I would add the capacitor as well.

You should also be checking the O2 heater & Closed Loop boxes in your bin, saving and then burning that to a chip. Put chip in car, start & hook up datalog cable. From there, open up Uber and go to the datalog tab and select a COM port, your wideband (PLX) & check the O2 box. You should see something happen on the datalog page.

I have the same wideband by the way. Works great. :y

so what compacitor are you talking about? I do check o2 heater, and the closed loop box when burning the chips =) So I gota cut D14 or splice into it? Got a diagram of that I can check out?

Your PLX unit should have come with a small capacitor. Check their website for a diagram & specs. I think it's -.1unF or something. I bought a whole bag of them at Radio Shack for a few bucks.

As far as your wideband hookup... You need to cut D14 at the ECU. Cap the loose wire from your O2 sensor & run the wideband signal from your wideband unit to the D14 plug/harness. Now your ecu is seeing a wideband signal and NOT a narrow signal.
