Default datalogging with crome pro????????????????????????

I can not get my hulog cable to connect to datalog with cromepro. I know the cable works because i can datalog with a standalone program with that cable. I have installed the RTP for data loging in crome pro and also removed the check sum thing. i have the latest version of crome pro as well. but still can not connect. i have tried changing comm ports and everything.. nothing works.

Well problem solved. The default setting on my Crome pro were all the same as Kevins(projekteg) EXCEPT for data bits. Mine was set at 4. I changed it to 8 and just like magic DATAlogging works. I have went threw everything a million times. It wasnt untill he told me what all the settings were saposed to be that i was able to fix the problem. The good thing is that i learned all about how to change comm ports and all that jaz.. But hey thats how I learn.

Good to see you got it worked out.

Dont know if you'll run into the same problems as I do when I start a new session of CROME and try to connect to ecu w/ a failure, but this is what works for me %100.

Start CROME
plug in usb cable
go to settings/real time programming >test connection - failure
unplug/replug usb
test connection again - success
