ok i have a 93 honda cx hatchback i have a d16z6 swap in it and im trying to get a the check engine light off when i check it is the sode for the cyp sensor i was told to change the distributor so i bought a new and its still on what should i do i have a automatic tranny ecu in it but i was told that doesn't make a difference any suggestion thank you

What ECU and distributor are you using?
If you clear codes, does is CEL again after running for 2-4 seconds?
Are you sure you're getting a 9 (cyp), and not a 19 (AT lockup), code?

We had that code on my friends car, swapped out dizzys still there, ran some new wires temp to see if it was wiring, still on...swapped a new ecu in and it went away...just some things to check...

i have the p28 non chip automatic ecu and the and the dizzy that goes for the d16z6
it might be 19 but it doesnt flash once that i know of before it flashes 9 times
