Ya that's fine, but you need a OBD1 or 2 dizzy though. They use a 24 tooth crankshaft position sensor instead of the 16 tooth OBD0 one.

What does the position sensor affect

I tried with both the d16 dizzy and obdo dizzy... They both ran the same.
Are you sure

Ok... simple question...

WHAT BASE MAP is recomended for...
a b18a1 (obd0) swapped into a 95 civic (obd1)
Using: obd0 dizzy, obd1 d16z6 engine harness

i need to be able to add boost tools.

You should just use an OBD1 dizzy and ecu. You are making things too complicated. You have a OBD1 car, stick with that. That way you can use CROME and use either P72 or P30 code for boost support, and disable VTEC.

Did it, Done it, Didn't work... Everything throws CEL and throws it into limp mode.

However... Turbo spools to 4psi @ 3krpm!!!!!! Severe ignition retarding (computer, Timing Belt and dizzy are Spot on) Timing light verified.

I'm going to kick this ------- think out the door.... Anyone want a 95 coupe w/ built n' forged B18a1 w/ t3/t4 turbo, and everything else... ALL IT NEEDS IS TO GET IT RUNNING and a miracle for 1000$

It this CEL 0 by any chance. Sounds like your OBD1 ecu was not chipped right or you are not making your base map correctly. Did you disable the checksum?

When i jumped the 2pin connector, i got two CEL's...

Weird tho... i've never heard of this...
I had two CEL's pop up... ONe of em was blinking on the SRS light, and the other was blinking on the CEL light.

Code 92 blinked on the red SRS light (airbag light), and code 14 blinked on the CEL light.

92 was some evap purge cntrl solenoid l
14 was the IAT...

YAHRRR!!! still unsolved.... this is a ------ mystery.

Code 14 is IACV (idle air control valve), fix that and then continue on and hopefully your problem is fixed

As for trying both obd0 and obd1 dizzy's, I know for a fact the teeth count on the sensor is higher in obd1. You HAVE to use an obd1 dizzy on an obd1 ecu. The wiring colors themselves are not a color match either going from obd0 to obd1. I have the correct wire match if you want to try it again.

Also, you were trying to use a obd0 map in an obd1 ecu...as you said, the map sizes are different sized grids, so obviously they won't work. You have to stick to an obd1 code. The p30 or p72 maps should be just fine to use with vtec disabled.

Your first concern should be to fix the tps sensor though. That will help solve alot of issues. As for the srs light, I've honestly never heard of that before...you sure it doesn't have something seperately to do with the srs system itself?
