crome pro datalogging
I tried datalogging in pro yesterday for the first time. I couldnt get a connection to the ecu, I tried changing it from com2 to com3 (these are the only two that it lets me select). Is there a particular baud rate it needs to be on? I'm using my friends cheap ass nokia cable. Also, what protocol am i using- oem honda or pgmfi OBD 1. We all (the cars im about to tune) have p28's. thanks for the help, im sure most of you know i dont know ---- about computers.

Re: crome pro datalogging
do you have the nokia cable drivers installed? is j12 been clipped? is the rom your trying to datalog have rtp enabled? if you install the cable and go to control panel, system, hardware, device manager and look and see what com it's on. otherwise keep selecting the other coms that are not darkened and it may work for you.

Re: crome pro datalogging
not sure on the first 2, can you elaborate. Like i said, i dont know much about computers. Is j12 supposed to be "clipped"? And by clipped, you mean cut?

Re: crome pro datalogging
yes you need to cut the j12, ill find you a pic in a little bit and you also need to download the usb cable ----. go on xencores site and click on dataloging. he has it on bottom of the page.
