Re: crome pro anyone?

You don't need CROME pro to open it. You can open any map with CROME free. Just post it up.

1.1.11h, my ass.

Go to Crome Development forum on pgmfi, look in the Final Value Fuel Tools 1.99RC4 thread. The first page links to the current Crome 1.2.0.24. Install FVFT 1.99RC4, Advanced Boost+ Tools 2.0, and your wacky ass maps should resolve themselves into something comprehensible.

Sweet, maybe this will solve the issues of the flat black car not running on Crome but running with UD...

I dunno if P30 bugs have been worked out yet, been running P72 code. Yes - P72 finally properly supported in Crome.

Sweet, I will post updates tomorrow.

Re: crome pro anyone?

Make sure you have FVFT 1.99RC4 and ABT+ 2.0 to get all the current hotness.

There were a few conflicts between the fuel tools that the old boost tools plugin was adding, and the way in which final value fuel tools was manifesting. They seperated all the fuel tools out of advanced boost tools with 2.0.

Re: crome pro anyone?

Yeah, I picked it all up last night, loaded it on the laptop, gonna burn some new maps tonight, see how it goes. Clutch is shot in the car, waiting till next weekend to drop tranny + install new one.

I would be more impressed if the boys over at pgmfi could keep the Crome developments in one location, and keep them current. It isn't like it didn't take me 5 mins of searching to find the right files, it's knowing they exist in the first place that's tougher.

ok ;) , i would like to know how work it.. :P

J-MAN 05-01-2006 01:36 PM

Re: crome pro anyone?

instead of burning a chip you just upload the bin to your ostrich and your good to go :y. it is very helpfull when tuning because you don't have to burn a new chip with every change you make to the map, you can make a change and it will be updated into the ostrich. i love mine.

Right click the .exe, or hover over it in XP. Says v1.2.0.24.

Welcome to betasoft meant to be tested, that is not an official release and therefore polished.

I've tuned two cars now on p30 code. Is p72 code supported for boost tools as well?

Re: crome pro anyone?

With FVFT RC2 (last week's stuff), P72 was supported and P30 was not.

I have tunes one car with 203/P30 code with RC4, everything ran pretty well except for the plugs... 8 psi on a B16, SSAC .50 T3/T04E, Lovefab ram horn... the car had a set of 8's in it, the #1 plug was cold and wanted a 7, where #3 was discolored to the threads and wanted a 9. It's either code bug, which I am doubting because ICT worked, or bad flow across the stock B16 IM.
