Crome Base Ignition Table?
Under advanced tables. Does this mean if the car is set at around 20 degrees timing at 8000 rpm its actually more like 29 degrees?

Re: Crome Base Ignition Table?
The ECU adds a timing or "dwell" correction in the stock program as the revs increase...
This isnt ideal in an altered setup. |
Re: Crome Base Ignition Table?
You shouldn't be concerned with the number, as long as you can get it to MBT. Thats where the least timing results in almost max power. Such as adding few deg more results in very little gains, or detonation. FYI the addition is essentially from Honda's stock code, so don't think it will advance timing to a crazy level.

This isnt ideal in an altered setup. I have an SSI-4 that I have been thinking of setting to monitor actual spark timing. |
