Default Conversion harness Question (obd2a - obd1)

I finished making my conversion harness and I've got a question. Did anyone else who made theirs (obd2a - obd1)connect VTM and VTS? How did you do it? I've got the vtm wire and the vts wire connected per the pinout I am using, but it says something about VTM connecting to VTS. Just wanting to verify. PGMFI moves too slow. :P

Or, if you've got a obd2a harness made by someone else, are the wires from c15 and a8 on the obd2a side connected somehow?

You should have a08(obd2a) to a04(obd1).

I do, and C15 on the obd2 to D06 on the obd1. I just wondered if they are supposed to be connected together. I can't see why, but the pinout/connections I got on pgmfi seem to say these wires are connected somehow for obd2a.
