Re: computer problem or is it something else

Be more specific than "it feels like the computer is shutting down"

If that was the case, your engine would stop running.

WELL IT FEELS LIKE A SUDDEN JERK,BUT IF U LET OF THE GAS AND GET RIGHT BACK ON IT.IT DOES NOT DO IT ANYMORE UNTIL U COME TO A STOP THEN TAKE OFF REAL HARD,THEN IT DOES IT AGAIN.ALSO I FORGOT TO PUT THIS IN THE FIRST POST,THE NUMBER 2 SPARK PLUG WIRE KEEPS COMING OFF THE PLUG AND JUST SITS IN THE TUBE..HAVE NO CLUE WHY IT IS DOING THIS.TRIED TO SQUEEZE THE CONNECTERFOR THE PLUG BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK.

Take your caps lock off. Get new plug wires. Rinse, and repeat.

Re: computer problem or is it something else

so what u are saying change my plug wires and that should stop it.if not what do i do then.also im running turboedit on my computer if that helps determine anything.does turboedit have a boost cut in the programming anywhere.

Re: computer problem or is it something else

Dunno about boost cut in turbo edit, sure it's a possibility if it has that feature.

Your plug wires are an obvious problem. Fix those and see if it changes anything before you do anything else.

Check your PCV vent (probably to atmosphere) to make sure it isn't clogged. Popping out spark plug wires can be caused by crankcase pressure coming past the spark plug tube seal on the valvecover.

Re: computer problem or is it something else

what does the pcv valve have to do with it,and also how can i fix the crankcase pressure i just replaced the tube seals like a month ago..so they are brand new....any help would be nice
