Cold start vs normal injector.

Our little project is geting along fine.
We have now working. The map sensor that readout the boost. A cold start inejctor that fires when we want. A turbo air selunoid that controls the wg, and a narrow band o2 sensor that tells us if we are lean or rich.

Right now we are trying to make it a closed loop i.e. the injector monitors the map sensor if we see boost and are lean it fires.

THe problem is we are unable to find more cold start injectors. The one I got is off a Merc. V8 so its flow is good. We can find a lot of normal injectors. Question is as I havent ever had a normal injector in my hand.

How diffirent is the operating of a normal injector from a cold start injector.
The cold start is silly simple. +12 Volts open it and we have flow.

Should I keep looking for a cold start or can a normal Injector be used.
Can somebody explain the Pros and COns of one over the other.
Will ost pics and all info once done dont want to post up half way thru the project and just look stupid.

found this

The cold start valve is essentially constructed the same as the regular fuel injectors. The main difference is that the cold start valve injection time is measured in seconds rather than in milliseconds like the regular injectors.
