I just bought an import CRX that needed a hella lot of work on it, turns out that it has a Euro ECU on it which has the external PA on it but the harness doesnt support an external PA so i'm thinking that the original ECU should have an internal PA, this is confusing as i thought they all had externals, can anyone point me in the right direction as when i get the engine running i dont think it will go right with a code 13, cheers

 

surfer, try the PM7 code that Blundar posted in the thread on PGMFI...that will take care of the CEL 13

My car runs fine with a CEL 13 & 20, although it shouldnt with the 13...i dunno

 

I would try a different rom but i only have 1 ECU with an external ROM and thats sitting quite happily in my turbo CRX and i dont really wanna take it out of there although if worst comes to worst i'll have to i suppose

I do however have a load of romless ECU's but trying to get an adaptor board is like finding rocking horse ---- dont suppose you know who's selling them at the minute, i tried a few of the threads on the pgmfi website but i got told $35 bucks or some ---- like that which is a little pricey i'm thinking
