civic problems, smc hack??

as ive asked before, i have been having trouble with my boosted civic, y8 the car ran fine for a while and has been acting up, i have pulled misfire codes from it for cyl 1 and 3, i will be just cruising and it will cut out miss around 2,800 rpm..and sometimes above boost or not, the power will come on then it feels like i lose a cyl then it pops on again, i am running 9 psi with DMC injectors and a smc plus, i have swapped or changed all of these items and made no differance in it,
complete distributator, sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, map sensor, tps, checked all wires, the fact that i get a misfire on 2 cylinders has me baffled? it has to be something with either the injectors? the Smc? or the resistor box.. i also ran one of those fuel injector cleaner cans thru the system, the one that you connect for a fuel line and the car runs off of it, would the signal from the map that the smc modifies affect only 2 cylinders? it seems to me that reading would be the same for all ,like i would get misfire codes for all of them? and if the resistor box was bad it wouldnt fire those at all , ( the box is new i bought from honda) anybody have any ideas..ive swapped the injectors around to see if the codes follow them but for some reason it hasnt thrown one yet although its missed umpteen times?? this is starting to really suck .is there a better system to for fuel management to make this work,, i just want it to run right again.thanks for any help..the engine is fine

Grab an AFC I guess. But why would you be misfiring. Is your timing retarded far?

no its not the timing, plus when i swapped distributators and reset it i had the same prob,

what are your smc settings?

Re:civic problems, smc hack??

my settings start at 38 and i drop down by one every 1000 rpms, but i never changed them since the car ran fine, and i did try changing them to see if it affected the miss, but it only made it run like crap so i set it back, i think the SMC is coming out and i am going with a vafc or afc.

i gotta a y8 with dsm 450's and had same prob. your plugs are fouled so replace them and set smc at like 45 going down to like 40.
