Default Chips... what do you use???

aye, my memcal (sits in ecu) is setup to take a 27C128 (16k binary UV EPROM)

i had a 29C256 ( 32k binary electronic erasable )
but the bastard died, they dont make em anymore and they were a direct swap

i brought a bunch of 27C256s off ebay but i need something to get me goin now ffs

i have heaps of spare stock chips, they're 27C128's now ive got a EPROM burner and UV box for erasing but when ever i erase them then try n burn em they're fucked im usin the right settings and ive burnt a fresh 27C512 before that i had to erase

anyone know of any other chips that might be compadible that will fit, preferabbly a EEPROM (electronic erasable)

i use tuner pro with custom 2 bar definition files to edit the tune and we've got it down to a fine art

how long do eproms usually take to erase in a UV box yeah i dunno what to do, i got heaps of stock chips and i need it runnin for a photo shoot tommorrow night
