Chipping now, need help ASAP

Hey, I'm chipping my ECU right now. As far as resistors and capacitors go, there doesnt need to be anything in R52 right? Just R54, C51 and C52. Thanks.

You just need the R54 resitor and the J1 jumper, c51 and c52 are not necessary.

Is it alright to put capacitors in C51 and C52? I got everything done, looks so hot.

Alright, well it started, limp mode... Either it's the ebay chip or something else is wrong. I figure it's the ebay chip, all my soldering was good. Any other reasons?

D15b7, p06, fixed it. It is supposedly a mugen chip, rich map, no fuel cut til 9200. No cel, runs nice. Chipping it wasn't bad. Can't wait to boost next week.

What was the problem? I don't know if I'd boost it on that ecu chip though... Who knows what's programmed on that. And a 9200 fuel cut?! :o unless you've got some head work etc. done, I wouldn't rev past like 6800 or whatever you factory fuel cut was at. Whoever sold you that chip is setting someone up for a blown engine ???

Oh, no. I wouldnt dream of revving my car that high. Or running my car on an ebay cheap. I bought a Batronix burner and eproms, I'm going to use uberdata and make a custom chip. That's all easy stuff though, the hard part (relatively) was soldering the zif socket and stuff and I just tossed the ebay chip in for fun. This is only my temporary NA chip. i'm just glad the soldering itself turned out well.

Ok cool. I was going to say :o!!! But glad you got it working. Good luck with the Uberdata and the turbo setup. Remember to post pics. ;) We love HMT pics here
