chipping automatic ecu for manual car
 
what needs to be done? i thought u can jus chip it and burn the rom and its ready for manual cars... whats the difference and what needs to be done for it to work right.

OBD1 USDM Auto to Manual:
remove RP17 and RP18
replace RP18 with a jumper wire

this is what the ecu should look like if it's a manual, an auto will have a jumper on rp17, just desolder rp18, remove rp17, and solder in a jumper wire to rp18
