Chipped Ps9 with dohc zc

Can i used a chipped ps9 and just not wire for vtec?
On my dohc zc?

sure, but you will get a code 19 all the time...

that shouldnt affect the running of the motor though

what if you just grounded out the a8 or somthing would it still through the code? once i hooked it up dustin it still flashed a 19 but no CEL?
