chipped pr4 has weak spark only when chip is in?
I'm using crome to tune my f22b1 with a chipped pr4 ecu. My prob is car runs great on all 4 cyl with the stock ecu, idles fine n on all 4 with the chip out of the pr4 , but when I put my chip in it reads it fine (cel goes out ) but it has weaker spark n only idles on 3 cylinders? I was told the basemap doesn't control the amount of spark ? BTW it has stonger spark without the chip? Anybody run into the same prob? I wanna get it to the tuner but cant while I have this issue. Wires, plugs, cap all good too?

It's a 95 accord ex, uber 1.7 basemap f22b1, the car will pick up n go when its above 2000 rpms? Or feels like it anyway.

Did you back down the dwell time when you were tuning it? That could result in a weaker spark.

Smart man u are! But listen FYI, for anyone using crome for a f22b1!! Use a h22 stock bin file and copy over the f22b1 numbers, I had to quadruple hi cam to get it to rev out to. It's close, real close. Also crome is on the lean side. Had to go 4-6 clicks up on the injectors duty cycle. I can pm my bin if anyone wants to look at it or has a better one to tune off of. I tryd all f22 bins, none of them idle. The h22 idles perfect bit was lean and after 4-6 clicks up on the duty cyle it perrd like a kitton

The setup is 450cc injectors , with a t25 off a saab on a f22b1, nothin fancy

I believe crome only let's you mess with the duty cycle and how many milliseconds they stay open for , the other chart is low/high cam ingition timing. There no dwell adjustment , xenocrons who I bought the ecu from and they finnily pointed me in the rite direction. hope this helps someone
