Chipped my ecu... Extra resistor ???
I chipped my ecu today and while I was doing it I noticed that my ecu has an extra resistor then the one in the write-up I was using. I have a P28 Manual ecu and I used this write-up to do my chipping:
http://superhonda.com/tech/honda_ecu_programming.html http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/5...talled22fv.jpg As you can see R52 has no restistor present. This is what my ecu looks like: http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9760/ecupic6me.jpg http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/7548/ecupic14ur.jpg My ecu has a resistor in R52. What does this mean/do? Will it effect anything? It's probably nothing, but it has me kind of worried since it's not in the write-up's ecu pic. Any answers to this mystery resistor would be great. Thanks. -Andy |

Re: Chipped my ecu... Extra resistor ???
It will be fine if it came factory that way.
I wouldn't remove it, if it is there. I wouldn't add it, if it isn't there. I have seen it both ways. |
