Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
That's something you'll have to ask around locally...
|
Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
Or you could try posting in the right section or even a DSM board.

I know we did a 95 at work, and that's it. |

Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
alright, thanks for the info. dont bag on mitsus and dsms they are good cars too just like honda. ive had a 83 corolla, 92 civic HB, 2001 prelude and now, a 98 mirage. they are not bad just different

Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
If you are looking for a 1G DSM EPROM ECU the local Toyota shop has one, IIRC. I could probably socket it and burn something to it, test it on Mikey's Colt or something.
Those are dirty ass ECUs, FWIW, capacitors leak uncontrollably all over the damn place and eat away at the board. Also, for their price... seriously, pick up a Megasquirt. |
Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
Ive done one before, and they are just like a Honda chipping, just looks different. If you can find anyone local that does any kind of 'chipping', they should be able to do it.

Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
do you think you can use the same programs such as crome or uberdata?
|
Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
Crome and Uberdata are just front ends for manipulating the EFI computers Keihin makes for Honduh, which are totally alien from the computers Mitsubishi makes for itself.
Netsearch Evilscribe for the DSM stuff. There are probably a number of others, but the last I checked Evilscribe was decently featured and had the easiest to use interface. |
Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
good info, thanks
|
Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
as far as 2g eclipses go, only certain 95s ecus can be chiped. they run $200-$350 just for the ecu.. most popular program is known as dsmlink.. go onto www.dsmtuners.com for more info

10-4

Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
You might want to talk to Jeff at www.dsmchips.com His chips aren't adjustable by you, but he can tweak things to get them close and add alot of features to the DSM ECU's. Yours may be similar enough to do something with.

Re: Chipped Mitsu ECUs
