Chip writing error

Tried burning my first map, and as i tries to write to the ic it says

IC CONDITION: Programmed till 58(dec)/3a(hex)
Checksum:63ac

The ic data is not equivalent to the editor data

What EM system?

What burner?

What chip?

Are your settings correct for the chip?

If you mean the map, i don't think it's the map, i've tried the stock, stable, and my base map tuned an none of them work, it almost seems as though there isn't enough space on the ic??

Yes, it's all done in an esd safe environment(i'm and electonics tech by trade), i tried to erase the ic, but it won't let me, it says there is no need, that it will auto erase..

The only thing i can see is that there is a choice, there is at28c256, or 29c256..My ic's are AT29c256 and i've chosen the 29c256 setup..This is really frustrating me, i was talking to a friend who suggested a 9v battery instead of the ac/adapter, and that didn't work either..
