Chip Programmer??
 
will this chip programmer work for burning an uberdata chip?? its pretty cheap, so if so i'll pick one up. thanks alot.

Man do some searching. about 60% of the people on this site use that programmer!!! You can do electronic erase chips too!

but that programmer isn't a willem, its a willem "style" programmer, if you read it doesn't list the 29c256 chip under eeprom.

#2: 29c256 is not a Eeprom it's a:
Copy From Auction
FLASH Memory:
29F64, 29F128, 29F256, 29F512,29F010, 29F020, 29F040, 29F080
29F001,29F002, 29F004, 29F008, 29F016, 29F032

Plus those chips are dicontinued. SST Chips are what available now and ifyou look it burn them too.

cool, i didn't know if you could use those chips in our ecu's. but now i will have to buy one >:D
can we use the 27sf512 chips too?

The 27sf512 is all I use as they are cheap and common.

A 29F256 would be different than a AT29C256 but luckily it is located under "Atmel Flash Memory
