my computer isn't seeing my moates burn1 chip burner. I've tried the add new hardware wizard but it doesn't pick it up. Any other ways to install it?

Everybody seems to have this problem. Are you using XP? I couldn't possibly begin to tell you how I did it, but it wasn't easy. What really sucked is after I finally got it installed it wouldn't work. :(

Re:chip burner

I was just messing around with it and I ended up just right clicking on all the INI files and clicking install, and it burns chips :) It doesn't say Moates.net USB blah blah blah it just says its a USB --> SERIAL but it seems to work...

I am borroring my friends laptop to run Turboedit on and its a 98 machine and I pluged it in and gave it the directory for the drivers and BAM! it worked.

First be sure your USB ports are enabled in your Bios next just unzip the driver software, plug in the burner then select the file. If your machine isn't seeing it right off the bat and trying to load drivers for contact Craig Moates.
