Re:check engine light

I reset it and it came back on; #1 oxygen content has anyone ever had that code before also if I hold it steady around 2000-2400 it surges it will rev and then die gaining and dropping 500 rpms.

Re:check engine light

it means you arent tuned properly....probably running too rich.

OR, you have a faulty O2 sensor

Re:check engine light

440 injectors stock 2000 si ecu, didnt do any thing with the o2 cables will check, also ping, death rattle (detionotion?) at full throttle in higer gears at lower rpms, using 94 octane gas, after I reset the ecu its fine until I start to rape it then the light comes on will come on in the lower rpms should I lean it out more -41 starting point for afc

So I don't suppose you've got a wideband? What is your timing set at? Are you retarding it at all?
