Default CEL shift light ?

how criticle is it to be right on the speed and rpm when setting up the CEL shift light? it seems to work more off of speed than rpm cause mine comes on a little later than the rpm i set

More than likely if your judging by the factory tach it's incorrect. For some reason the stock Honda tach's seem to be a bit inaccurate.

so should i just put my speeds a little higher than i need and start dropping my shift point till it lights up when i want?

awesome, thats what i did. i will find out on my way to work tomorrow if it worked. also xenocron, i finally got everything working consistantly and have been having a blast messing with things with uberdata. i also tried crome once but i didnt havew as much luck and didnt really like it. one more thing, do you know abuot the diy-wb.com stuff? it seems that site hasnt ben updated in a while. i was wondering if the kits are still available and if they work just as good as buying an expensive one

I think I'm the only one on thiis site running one successfully now and ever. I know of 1 other guy here who built but never tuned off of it. I like mine for the price, just not as user friendly and datalogging takes a little bit of ingenious. I fiqured it out fine though. As for getting a hold of the guy for the PCBs, GOOD LUCK. I htink he fell of the edge of the earth, along with the parts kit he owed me for the display!!!

I am going to try to etch a few DIY-WBs with the display option built in and a few changes, the only problem is time. I got none of it!!!!
