cel 22.
is there any way to make it go away? can u jump the wires at the ecu? i am running a p28 with a b18c1 stock chip. im trying to get my car ready for the dyno. got a cel 22. i read it wrong the first time. made sure the pressure switch is good. how much oil pressure should i have going to the switch? is there anyway to bypass the switch without burning another chip?

I know that on some of the automatic b18a1 there is a egr. |
Re: egr.....cel
i may have read the cel wrong. im gonna check it again today it might be cel 22. vtec pressure switch.

Re: egr.....cel
meant to say read the wrong code. not cel

Re: cel 22.
I had the same problem (CEL 22) and I just disabled the Vtec Pressure Switch in the ROM using eCtune. I think if you connect pins A4 and D6 this will do the same thing.

Re: cel 22.
i"ll give it a shot

Re: cel 22.
If you are using CROME and need to disable pressure switch, bridging A4 & D6 will work.

Re: cel 22.
im not using anything, all i have is a basemap chip for a gsr in a p28.

Get a burner and you can start to make some changes on your own. |
Re: cel 22.
i bought the chip from xenocron. i just thought maybe there was a quick fix. i was planning on buying a burner anyway.

Re: cel 22.
A4 bridged to D6 is a quick fix regarless of the chip or program used on it. It will get rid of a CEL 22.
Going through the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the vtec pressure switch is pretty easy as well. Download any vtec motor HELMS from this thread, and it'll have step by step diagnostics for it. https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=10912.0 |
