car wont crank, need expert advise

Here goes:

just finished putting the ls in the car with a stock OBD I d15 civic harness. When you turn the key to crank, the starter does not turn. When i manually jump the starter it works, so its not the starter. There is no voltage at the starter when you turn the key to crank. OK- starter relay, ignition switch, or one of the two clutch switches right? NO. When I turn the key to crank, the top clutch switch has 5 V (is that enough?) So its not the starter relay. There are two of them, but i would assume if voltage is going to the switch, they are both working. As for the switches, i pulled the connector for both of them and put a jumper wire in the connector. Car still does not crank. WTF!

if your gonna suggest main relay, i changed it last year when it went bad... on and the fuel pump does prime, so its not that.

I know this sounds crazy but check your fuses, something may have popped when you did whatever. Remember the KISS method. I live everyday by that method, especially when it comes to electrical.

There needs to be a ground from your valve cover to the front of the engine bay... If thats not there it wont crank. If you have it make sure you clean off any paint and make sure it has a good connection.. Thats all I can think of

what voltage are you getting for the relay signal when you crank it?
