car runs crazy rich

im running a pr4 on a 1.5 no turbo, it ran fine before the turbo, now that im back to all motor it runs too rich i never had fuel management is it possible that the injectors were over driven & damaged
p.s. the o2 is fine

Re:car runs crazy rich

i will run rich cause of the differnce in size.pr4 =1.8 dohc vs 1.5 sohc....the fuel maps are richer in the pr4.

not true
i ran this setup succsessfully before the turbo im thinking something got fucked when i had the turbo on possibly the injectors were overdriven

have you even looked at the differences between the two fuel maps? I have. the 1.8l dohc is going to flow WAY MORE FUEL through those 240cc injectors than the 1.5l sohc engine needs. ::) Geez, you ask for help and opinions and then when somebody gives you an educated answer you come back and say "no you're wrong, the Earth is flat"

:P

i agree.

my friends car is in the same boat, his car runs rich as hell due to being "tuned" factory for a 1.8L

is it chipped? stock? did you run an AFC before? FMU?

What size injecotors did you use while turbo?

How long has it been since you were turbo? Was the car down for a long time?

Do you have a fuel pressure regulator.

WAY too many variables to pin point your probs w/o more detail.

Also...just because you can plug another ECU into your car and it starts and idles DOES NOT mean it was running ok...i'm betting you never had it widebanded and you got pretty crappy gas mileage as well when you were turbo...

it is stock with the afc un-hooked and stock injectors
