Re:can I use my p28 on dx motor
all you'll gain is a 6800 revlimiter instead of 6500, and no speedlimiter.
You'll get the CEL codes, but they have no effect. I did this 6+ years ago, and running the same thing now that my D15Beast7 is back in. |

There are many burners that will fill your needs. The two that seem to work the best and are within a decent price range are the willem and the Moates.
Cost: The moates "Burn1" is $85 on moates.net Willem is about $50 on eBay. Compatibility: They both work with the major chips you will need. The willem does more chips, but you will never use them for automotive stuff. Connections: The willem needs a serial cable and a USB cable (for power) The moates take only one USB for everything (very nice) Software: The willem comes with software that is a little more confusing because it is made to work with hundreds of chips. The moates software is simple because it is made with TurboEdit/Uberdata guys in mind. Overall I would go with the Moates. I have owned both, and I just like the ease and tangle free operation of the moates. If all you want is cheap, then use the willem BTW: kev just did a big write-up on teh willem operation https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=35497 |
