Im nearing the end of my turbo conversion, but still have no damn map .. I think leed was going to make one, but i havnt heard from him for a while..

If anyone wants to have ago, id be most grateful

My setup is:

b16a1 original PR3 ECU
Using now a PM7 ecu
T25 turbo
6psi
450 cc DSM injectors
2.5 inch exhaust
RX7 intercooler

I got your email...I would really rather 'empower' you by teaching you how to make your own maps.

Download TE and play...and IM me at 'xenocron1' sometime and I will walk you threw the process.

Turbo90Accord4DR (Josh) has put faith in TE's ability to create stable boost maps.

He took them to the dyno, not ONCE touching the map, only using the boost retard function, and the fuel adjustment function, and made BIG power on his B18.

Play with TE, give it a try... Chris and I are going to try to get together some time and make a manual for everyone. I know it's hard, but with my motor builds becoming closer to being finished, I'm having less and less time to work.

 

Yeh ive had a look, but im 17, and really dont trust myself with the tuning side of cars. I just really need a base map for the setup, then maybe i can *try* fine tune it. The engines in good nick itself,and being a poor ----, dont really want to stuff it up..

You don't need to know what you're doing. Click a couple of buttons, type a couple of numbers. It does all of the work for you.

your 17 and scared i`m 30 next sunday and shitting myself about getting it wrong there are base maps on this site and others thatll get you started and a ahem map libary on the te website soon good luck and if you get one can i have a copy

 

Just don't get to crazy with the maps. I have been running TE for over a year now. Parker talked me into in way back when and I was skeptical but havent had any problems whatsoever. If you make any changes, make gradual changes. Take it easy on the car until you are comfortable with your tune. You have to try pretty damn hard to mess up your map bad enought o break stuff. Jsut give it a shot. You will never learn unless you try.
