boosting this weekend..oh my. what to do with this FMU

new to boost as you may or may not know. so my set up will be a t-bird Snail and for engine management it will be stock injectors with a Bosch FMU. i will only be boosting a max of 5 psi ( sigh ) .

eventually i will have Donald or xenocron chip my PM6 and hopefully run TE for the 1.6 ZC (dohc) on the 4 door. i only hope i dont run into the problems others have had with the car running like ---- or not starting at all.

Also that Wideband by Ztronics..or something is fairly affordable at only $279 so i will look into that.

if anyone can give me a heads up on what to expect on the 1st set up, i would greatly appreciate it.

hope all goes well and i have some Turbo MX6 injectors sittong around, shoul di use them with the Bosch FMU? are they a tad bit bigger than my honda injectors?

Heres a first heads up, in order to make the car perfect it will take several attempts at tuning. So dont be discourged when your car runs like ---- for awhile, it takes time to work bugs out especially if this is your first time.

First piece of advice, get a wideband or find someone who has one that will let you borrow it.

welll i have had the car boosted for a good week and it feels ok for 5 psi. Thanks to all that made it happen, WhiteRice, Renr, donald, murdoc, --------, and that guy who fell asleep in my car while i worked on it till 6 am ......

Jeff, thanks for that bit of info. Every bit of encouragement helps! ;) and i guess your ok, despite what others may say.. :P I owe alot to this site, my cousin and all the freinds i have made through HMT, without you guys i would still be N/A......... :-X

ill get ahold of someone who can chip my PM6 and ill post up the results when i get it done.....
