boost gauge on N/A

can i fit my boost gauge that i have in the garage now?

i understand it wont move or anything but im trying to get all the parts that i can now until i have the rest of the kit to put on.

I have already fitted the vafc, and am planning on fitting the 450's before the turbo.

Will the car still idle properly with the boost gauge fitted on N/A?

Also if it will fit now which vaccum pipe do i "T" off??

Thanks Matt B

Re:boost gauge on N/A

is it a vac / boost guage? the vac readings will fluctuate from -20 to 0.

can be usedd to diagnose some problems like vac leaks.

yes it will be fine, and any vac source will work.

how do you think all the ricers have their boost gauges hooked up? haha theirs just dont read boost.

i think it is a vac/boost gauge it goes from -20 to +20, so will that be one?

didnt think of using it to diagnose vac probs!

Good idea.

Thanks
