the bitch lives

it's spring break for me so I've been working on my car lately. I finally got everything put together and got her to turn over, it starts, but runs like ballsack. I have codes 4 and 7, crank position sensor and throttle position sensor, she doesn't know what position she's in. for those who don't know it's an 88 civic dx with the stock d15b2 bomber back in. I'll be trouble shooting this evening and will provide updates when I figure ---- out. I'll get some pix and vidz up once I get it running right. any suggestions or insights would be nice.

make sure you got the pins flipped apropriatly.

idk if you just switched to mpfi, or back to dpfi, but remember the TPS needs inverted for MPFI, and you may have accidentally mixed up the CKP wires repinneng the dizzy plug.

I switched from mpfi back to dpfi, but the only wiring I had to switch was at the ecu because I got a stock dpfi wiring harness from a 90 dx hatch. I'm about to go out and start checking pins right now.

update, the wiring at the ecu checks out according to the manual, which sucks because now I have to look for something else that's wrong, ----.

CPS is in the dizzy, I got one DPFI style when my dizzy got fucked, needed to replace it.

TPS, swap it with a known good one?

this whole setup ran perfect before I pulled it out and put in the b16, so I don't think any of the sensors got fucked up, I'm thinking the wire harness might be fucked, does anybody know if there's a difference between the 88 dx harness and the 90 dx harness?

what are the differences? I'm only getting 2 codes, so they can't be all that much different.

All I know is whenever I mixed harness's on ef's I got codes and went and got the correct year. Never was to intrested but if you could score the one for your car your set.
