best ecu for turbo edit???
I have a pm6 now that must be a 88 or 89 because it doesn't have the right chip. Do I get a 90-91 from a si or will any 90-91 ecu work?(including non mpfi) Are some better than others and does anyone know the rest of the code I am looking for? pm6-???? I want to put a vtec head on later also if that matters, I just dont want to buy the wrong one thanx in advance, Chad. ;D

Re:best ecu for turbo edit???
Your best bet is a 90-91 PM6 if you're not going VTEC, and a 90-91 PS9 if you plan on doing VTEC.
There are a lot of other options, but those are the two most common. |

Re:best ecu for turbo edit???
Single Map VTEC is stated to work now..
Dustin doesn't use TE anymore, so he's unable to test for us. A ROM coder named Tatou on PGMFI fixed the VTEC code and stated he tested it with a test light, and on a D16Y8 motor.. VTEC engaged as set directed by the users TurboEDIT options. I would like to get more tests to make sure... ..anyone with a PS9 want to test? :-\ |
Re:best ecu for turbo edit???
but due to the ps9 ecu the maps are limited to 7400 rpm are they not?
