I have the Batronix, cost was about $100, and at the time none of us knew about the Moates burner (or it wasn't out yet). It has the most professional looking case and build quality of any of the sub-$200 burners out there, and support and software is very top notch. One of my buds got a Moates burner and he says it works great though. Since the difference in price is $30-$40, here are pros/cons of each:

-Moates is cheaper
-Batronix is 2x easier to install, has better software
-Moates can be operated off of usb voltage, does not need AC plug
-Batronix has purdy and sturdy casing, and can program about 5x more chip types (if you care)

Edit: here ya go

Batronix has a USB burner. It's pricey though....

From the looks of your "Whitey bends" I'm sure you'll choose the Willem. Function over fashion.

I'm actually leaning towards the Moates cause it looks like itll last longer cause it has a case. But I Don't know if the case is worth $33

You can go to radio shack and buy a "project box" or something like that and use that if you're worried about how your burner looks......ricer. :P

I vote for the willem. If you can get er done for $50, why pay $80.

Yes that link above is the same as mine.

1 wire burning is nice. But not really needed. Unless it was wireless, then ---- it.

- Willem is the cheapest and my J-dubness might make me get this one

-Moates has a better fit and finish and 1 wire USB. Its $30 more but are these extra features worth the $30

Still undecided...
