It all depends what car it will run on; I dont know of any wideband EMS combo's, but I do know that you can get a megasquirt and an LC1 from diyautotune.com for something like 380 dollars, PLUS all the tuning/dataloging software for the megasquirt is free and open source, and it is relatively universal and has a wide userbase.

2BarRacing 07-01-2009 03:31 AM

first of all just because you have all the ---- doesnt mean you can tune I know i cant golf so even if i go out and buy all the nice ---- I am still a shitty golfer. except the only balls that will be getting crushed will be yours when you have to push your car home because you just put a hole in the piston.

nguyen07 07-01-2009 04:16 AM

well i just need to get a good set up for the low because one of my buddies does most the tunning for peeps in my area and he knows his ---- on tunning

umm here is a dumb idea does that kit come with a chip burner? are you going to go fast and furious and think its cool to run with a laptop at all times lol

nguyen07 07-01-2009 05:14 AM

well no im not the queer fnf guys im talking real time data logging i herd its good for tuning at half throttle and what not but i have not clue about the chip burner thing is it just as good a reall time datalogging and plus its not like il be riding everywhere with my laptop hooked up i just need it hooked up for the tune and what not but i just want to get a good ems so i can just get it tuned with out paying ------- 200$ for an hour a tuning everytime

nguyen07 07-01-2009 05:18 AM

by the way my set up is a 92 eg hatch with b16a swap with gsr cams skunk 2 intake mani, boosted on to4e with fmic greddy bov golden eagle fuel rail 255 fuel pump 440 inj full 3in down pipe to 3in full cat back no name 38mm wastegate and running off a chip from phearable.net thats all i remember from the top of my crainium

nguyen07 07-01-2009 05:21 AM

and no 1 have ne clue which way i should go for good quality low budget ems wide band set up?

dot communist 07-01-2009 09:36 AM

megasquirt has a program called autotune which can do it for you based on AFR targets. you find a base map for your car and set the map then it will find what is best for you based on the AFR targets and knock sensing and all that.

2BarRacing 07-01-2009 12:05 PM

eeh megasquirt is not really needed for hondas with the vast knowledge of the obd1. Have you ever wondered why tuning is 200$ and hour? I will give you one idea its because not everyone can do it. I charge 150$ an hour for tuning and I am booked

2BarRacing 07-01-2009 10:23 PM

umm do you have any idea what deto even sounds like?

nguyen07 07-02-2009 03:26 AM

I use it, but thats for BMW. While I would whole heartedly type a paragraph about why MS is best, I cant for a honda because there are so many different options that are way easyer. but if you want bragging rights go full standalone ;D

fry12ice 08-15-2009 11:02 PM

I would just go for S300 and get a LM-1 Wideband

roadkill1991 09-15-2009 10:20 PM

want a emange?

am asking 325 shiped OBO (low ball me) with all the harnesses you will need

Were you gonna do emanage for your setup? I know of one guy who got away with that on an NV E36, and I am honoured to have been noticed

roadkill1991 09-16-2009 10:03 PM

what engine? my advice would be to wait a while if you have a VANOS motor because diyautotune is working on a vvt controller that may or may not be built into their m5x PNPEMS megasquirt system.
