I learned how to use TurboEDIT using xenocron's very well written tutorials.

There i one on how to create a basemap, and just what are those pesky values that you're editing anyway.

Xenocron's tutorials thought me everything about how to use TurboEDIT. Now I am a TurboEDIT Grand Master. ;D

Yeah those tutorials seem good if you already know what the functions, numbers, columns do.

Im new to boost, adding fuel and retarding timing, so Im basically starting from scratch

Is there any special programs I need?

just do alot of research..read al the FAQ's and go to PGMFI.org

they have plenty of information...even if you dont know what they are talking about, you will learn by reading ...

i still dont really know much about what all the numbers mean but hey the more you try it the more likely you will learn.

IM BACK!

Got scared away from boost when I realized how much money it was going to cost to hit 350+ whp, went with nitrous for a while but its getting expensive already

Got a new job for a year until I figure out what I wanna do in school

Need to learn this program

what? you would only settle for 350+ whp so you decided to just make extra 50-60 hp with nitrous instead :P if you're not even boosted right now, you have plenty of time to mess with and learn the basics of how an ecu rom editor works. just install the program on your pc and read through the tutorials and mess with the program at the same time, this is how i learned. i thought it was complicated as hell, but i got all the basics in less than a day.

Umm... 12:1 compression, full race head, huge bolts ons, 125 shot would be a ------- quick d, but I want to be able to run laps at tracks so nitrous wouldnt be to fun and nitrous is expensive in my area anyways

Still wanting to learn this program
