b18a1 in 91 Si conversion help..
 

So alrighty im sure i will get hated on pretty quick with this question but im just looking for the RIGHT info... :y Sooo alrighty i got a GOOD deal on a 91 Si hatch and it has a b18a1 but still with stock Si ECU..ANYWAYS.... alrighty i understand i need the new ECU and New Dist. and conversion harness. .. But i just want to be 100% sure of which ecu to pick up and dist. Im guessing as long as im non-vtec i can use any non-vtec obd1 ecu?... it will be chipped anyways for what i boost it with. And also which obd1 dist. do i need?.. ??? DUMB QUESTIONS but i just really wanna clear up my options and plans.. The car has been on stands while i put a new tranny in it so i havnt been drivin the lil p.o.s around... :6 THANX

So you want to go OBDI? You can just use the factory harness and an OBD0 distro and then get an OBD0 PR4. Done.

Can you chip a obdo ????? i didnt think you could?... so the pr4 would be from the Integra that the motor was originaly from ? Hmmmmmm and no need to update the dist.? ???

Yea OBD0 is chipable and if you have a 90-91 PM6 you can just get that chipped with a map for the B18a1 or maybe it already is, open it up and take a look, I think he pm6 will run the b18a1 ok but you should either ge it chipped or grab a OBD0 (90-91) PR4 dizzy is also fine

Sooo alrighty.... in the for sale forum the dudes selling the socketed pr4...?....wouldnt that work? and then Csaddict says i can keep my stock harnesses? I didnt think i could swap ECu's and keep the same?... also the obdo dist. too ? ??? Dude im sorry im just really trying to get my ---- staright so im not trying to purchase RANDOM ASS ---- off ppl here ... :6 something i would do!...

you can use either the harness from the Si or the b18a.

and you can use either ecu...but the PR4 is recomended.

How is that possible that the Ls ecu is going to match up with the Stock hatch Harness?.... and i thought when updating to the obd1 ecu u had to update to the obd1 dist. for sure?... ---- IM TARDED ! :1

wait neeeeeeever mind the ecu is still obdo....Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ic ic...so the only question is .....the match between harness and PR4 will work..?
