Default B-series Dizzy question

I've searched, but I just want to confirm my findings.

I'm building an LS/Vtec, but in the mean time I'm tossing in a B18B into my 98 Integra. It's OBD2, so I'm just going to run the stock computer. I know I'm going to have to convert to OBD1 and run Crome when I go ls/vtec and throw my turbo kit on. I only have one dizzy, and it's from an OBD1 B16 head. It will physically fit on the OBD2 motor, but is there anything that I should worry about? It'll work just fine on my OBD2 LS until I do the swap, right? Thanks guys.

Colin

I know that your OBD2 distributor will work fine while running OBD2, but I dont believe your OBD1 distributor will work all that nicely with your OBD2 ECU...at least that is what I think you are asking.

<-- ::confused himself::

the obd-1 dizzy will not work on an obd-2 car. we have tried it and get errors and ----... so you gotta stick with the correct OBD that the computer is running

God damnit!. Alright, I guess I'll just have to swap it all to OBD1 then. That's cool.

My question now-

Will an OBD1 Vtec dizzy work with an OBD1 non vtec ecu (I'll chip it, so I don't know if it really matters)?

on a b series motor there all the same obd 1 or 2 the only difference is the plug in

i ran both of them on diferent cars i had 95 civic whit a obd 2 motor and dis.

and i sold obd 1 distrubitor on obd 2 b18b you just nead to chage the plugin on the distrubutor to match the harnest

h series have some sensor mising or coil from obd1 to obd 2

I've also run both as well. The dizzies are the same, it's just the plugs are different. I made conversion harness's so I didn't have chop the plugs.
