"Auto-Tune" feature in crome having a few probs

Is there any writeup on how to use the auto tune feature in crome? I have been working at it for a few hours last night and cannot get it to work properly, I am using the 1.4 version of pro. I set my target lambda's and go into the "show lambda readings" and as the little pink cursor moves across my map most squares keep blank, if I get a value in a few squares I will hit "auto adjust maps" and they will clear. I'm assuming it changed the value on the fuel map and I hit put so send the new bin to the ostrich. It doesnt seem to help much I dont think i'm doing it correctly, Any help with auto tuning would be greatly appreciated!

BTW: I am having a hard time getting onto pgmfi.org so that site isnt really much of a help to me at the moment.

The ---- is your problem? You wasted hours playing around with this function when you could have already had the car tuned. Stop ------- around with auto tune and just tune the car yourself. It's not that hard to tune fuel. Man the ---- up.

PS: You are ------- retarded. http://forum.pgmfi.org/

Whats the deal with pgmfi.org? do you have to put forum. in front of it in order to get onto the site?

The site has been down for a year. The forum is on one server and the actual website hasn't been moved.

As for your claim in saving time, how is it saving you time if its not working? Auto-tune doesn't work well. It's a waste of time. You should be able to get a good tune on a car in about 2 hours. You've already spent that time trying to get auto-tune to work. Guess what, it has wasted your time. Auto tune is a joke. Tune the car by hand. It's faster. Auto-tune will work almost well getting the tune kind of close but then when you start getting close to actual target values it will start over correcting, then recorrecting, then over correcting, then recorrecting until it totally fucks your fuel maps. Again, tuning by hand=faster. Auto tune is for morons. Ignore the function and just tune the car.

I was just playing with it and you're right about it overcorrecting, once you get to that point you go in by hand in each cell and use crome's suggested value, it takes no time, I just tuned my car to nearly perfect in less than an hour. You're right in a way but it's def a nice feature, and it seemed to work good for me so I will use it again
