Anyone here uses Chrome for Boost??????
I know uberdata is the general program used here for fuel management, but my tuner said he just downloaded the full version of CHROME (paid $450) and it is basically a heavily modified version of uberdata.

Re: Anyone here uses Chrome for Boost??????
crome is not uberdata. crome is its own program and is similar to uberdata like it is similar to hondata. From what I've heard Crome is a much easier program to use. I have to try it stilll.

Re: Anyone here uses Chrome for Boost??????
i have a uberdata map on my car now.
But for the last two days my tune has been trying out crome (sorry about the cHrome). he said it is easier, it has a Boost cut, and it automatically adjust the map settings if car is running too rich, or too lean, And it also adjust ignition timing, but i need to have a knock sensor for that. so far it seems really good, BUT the datalogging is giving up problems....and that is why i am here asking. |
Re: Anyone here uses Chrome for Boost??????
crome is crome, uberdata is uberdata, hondata is hondata, yeah, they're all very similar, but they're their own program. i suggest your 'tuner' reads up and learns how to use a program before he invests 450 bucks in to it.

Engine Management sucks.
Little do you know all you need is some super glue, bendable straw, one of those casio calculator watches, and you can boost up to 3bar on your stock ECU and injectors. |

Ive been on CROME for some time now. Very stable GUI. If you've got it hooked to an Osterich and have the hot-keys down, you can get things done very fast.
The lambda/map trace is very very good as well. I just end up using either CROME or Uber based on what ECU its going into. They both work great. |

For P72's. Atleast untill I get ahold of a P72 to try the P72HiRes plugin's on my own car.
Although, from what I read, it works fine. I just would like to run it through the paces myself before I tune someones elses car on it. |
