i have a couple 1720 boards and im trying to add VTEC to one... i have one from an auto that already has a RM11, but the manaul tranny one doesnt... im reading up on PGMFI on adding this, sounds like you can add 3 resistors in place of an acual RM11...but its not really making sence to me, sounds like you need to put a couple resistors in the same spot? can someone post up a pic so i can get an idea of whats going on? thanks

 

i have pics on my work computer that i can post up tomorrow if you need them. but basically, rm11 has 8 holes, hole number 1 being closest to the plugs on the ecu, and number 8 being the farthest away from the plugs. put a 10k resistor from holes 1-2, put a 51k resistor from holes 2-3, then a 12k resistor from holes 3-8 (nothing on 4-7). i usually put them on the underside also, makes it look much neater. i'll post pics tomorrow if you still need them.

you can do it on the top side too. Just get them close to the board, and not sticking way up in the air. You can make it so it looks like it belongs there.

 

eh, i like to put em on the bottom, that way you can see them at all. just cut the legs short on the top side and put a nice solder joint on them and you can hardly tell anything's there at all. here's some pics if you still need them dustin.
