Default anyone clean boards with alcohol?

I chipped a p06 last night and cleaned off the flux with alcohol. I didn't realize it had a coating on it and it got all fucked up and cloudy. It really looks shitty, but does anyone think that'll ---- it up besides looks? Do I need to clean the rest off now that it started?

I don't know what the ---- I was thinking should have known it was coated, pisses me off.

Brake clean gets that stuff off pretty good.

After everything dries, you can just spray a thin layer of clear coat on it

It's just like a coating to keep the components from getting wet from like condensation and whatnot. I believe it's called conformal coating. Nothing I'd be afraid of if it's missing or looks funky. Just seals the board like a clear coat for pcb's. I used to work with this kind of stuff a long time ago.
