anybody ever used the voltage off their o2 sensor to read a/f ratios?

anybody ever used the voltage off their o2 sensor to read a/f ratios? like this here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46093
i figure a voltmeter that can read 1/10th or 1/100th of a volt should work just the same. let me know thanks.

pointless anyways.. those sensors are narrow band and only output a signal for 14.0 to 15.0 afr.. so pointless in a turbo car (when you're looking for what, 12's?)

everybody who has a autometer guage is doing the same thing, all it is is a voltage between 0-1 and the autoguage just puts it into a nice pretty form for you. A voltmeter would tell you the same thing except in numbers instead of lights. It's all pretty much useless anyway.

so the voltage/fuel ratio config isn't accurate?

only if it's from a wideband o2 sensor that outputs 5volts.
