Are any of you guys logging with ps2 port?

My laptop doesn't have a db9 serial port and my usb nokia cables are having driver issues. Is anyone using a max232 chip and datalogging via the ps2 serial port?

You'd have to make the PS2 port a COM port...can you do that on a computer?

Well the ps2 port technically is a com port I thought. You can buy ps2 to db9 adapters to run db9 older style mice.

nevermind, a guy in my class explained to me that ps2 is used more for input than output.

Keep workin the USB DRivers, it took my system some time (I got it to work in Win98 somehow, but it pluged right in on my Win2K)

For logging you need input & output (TX & RX) power & ground as well.
